Mountain bike acrobats out for thrills and soft-pedalling touring
cyclists will find that the region offers plenty for all In the Hautes-Alpes,
where several "cols" have been made famous by the Tour de France, cycling
enthusiasts can follow the tracks of champions. Several paths are also
provided for cyclists more cut out for a gentle ride with the family to
sporting exploits.
In the Var, over 500 km of tracks have been marked out for mountain
bikers, adapted to different levels. The Alpes-de-Haute-Provence also offer
mountain bike circuits that can be completed inside a few hours with a return
to the starting point.
In the Bouches-du-Rhône, the Alpilles are particularly suited to
mountain biking.
